“We are happy to announce the promotion of Jennifer Silva-Reis as she has been fundamental in helping steer our Bill Pay division,” said Anneke Stender, Executive Vice President of TAG. “Her dedication to handling client relations and overseeing the day-to-day functions makes the division run smoothly,” she said.
TAG Bill Pay is growing at a rapid pace with the onboarding of at least one new client per week. Silva-Reis has several internal AP teams that report to her, all working in conjunction to provide bill payment, manage wire transfers, perform account reconciliations and track expenses for clients.
Silva-Reis was hired as an Accounts Payable Lead and within her first year at the firm she was promoted to a supervisory role. Prior to joining TAG, she held accounting positions at a San Diego nonprofit organization and corporate advertising agency. She also served as a finance specialist at a local bank.
TAG has been specializing in financial reporting and accounting services that cater to the high-net-worth and their family offices for over a decade. By providing a holistic view of assets and financial holdings, it gives clients and their personal financial team clear data. This helps establish budgets and develops the foundation for implementing wealth strategies.
“Our clients were already utilizing components of bill pay as part of their back-office accounting setup,” said Robert Scherer, President of TAG. “We decided to build-out the platform as a more robust service offering with bank level standards of security,” he said.
TAG Bill Pay service offers a range of deliverables, including bill payment and recordkeeping, expense tracking, cash flow reporting, vendor management and mail management services. There is complete account production with bank-level security measures and a cloud infrastructure for real-time 24/7/365 network monitoring and detection. All sensitive information is encrypted and uploaded to the client’s private cloud portal with two-factor authentication for login.
“This high-touch, secure, and reliable solution gives our clients a resource to offload their household bill paying and recordkeeping tasks,” said Robert Scherer. “With this new service for the high-net-worth and their family offices, we were able to capitalize on a gap in the marketplace for bill pay management,” he said.
Founded in 1996, TAG’s mission is to help companies and individuals achieve their business and financial goals by providing an unparalleled array of customized, effective and trusted outsourced accounting services, including bill pay and fractional accounting support and software solutions.
TAG works with clients across the country and has three office locations in Southern California: 1227 Prospect Street, Suite 200, La Jolla, CA 92037; 16904 Via de Santa Fe, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067 and 100 Bayview Circle, Suite 270, Newport Beach, CA 92660. www.teamtag.net
