Nothing quite says Halloween Horror Nights quite like themed food and drink as one of the world’s best Halloween events has delivered a frightfully good concoction of a menu for this year’s epic event.
From HHN mazes on this year’s line up such as A Quiet Place and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire to some independent IP mazes such as Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America and Goblin’s Feast there’s plenty to do at this year’s event but all of that walking and queuing takes its toll and that’s where our themed food and drink options come in handy!
Here’s a look at some of the most incredible treats on offer for guests at this year’s event with a mouthwatering array of food and drink offerings.
I can’t quite finish this article without drooling on my keyboard… just take a look at these and stay tuned in a weeks time when I’ll update this article with every single menu item I managed to try out during my visit along with my verdict!
Mini Stay-Puft S’more
You can eat the marshmallow man!!
This is one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen, I don’t think I’ve ever taken a bite out of my food and felt guilty but this cute little guy is certainly going to take the trophy for me as the best-themed food at this year’s event!
This Mini Stay-Puft S’more comprises of a Mini Stay-Puft marshmallow man, chocolate bar and graham cracker.
I’ll apologise before I consume, don’t worry.
Wooden Board Éclair
Inspired by the iconic scene in A Quiet Place this pastry cream-filled éclair has been dipped in chocolate ganache with a bloody chocolate plank.
Even just creating menu items the level of detail here is ridiculously good it only further makes me anticipate just how good the mazes are going to be, I’m absolutely buzzing for my first ever Halloween Horror Nights, can you tell?
They’ve absolutely nailed it with this menu item!
Slimer’s Korean Corndog
Slimer is representing the brand new Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire addition to this year’s HHN line-up and celebrating Slimer’s love of junky food we have a Korean Corndog which is a Korean cheese dog with Fritos, Cheetos powder, ghost pepper spice, sage derby cheese and mozzarella.
Hold onto your hats with this one as this could be a very spicy addition indeed!
Harissa BBQ Turkey Wing Inspired By Goblin’s Feast
Just check out this saucy little (not so) wing. This one popped off the page when I saw it for the first time as this turkey wing is coated with spicy harissa BBQ sauce.
A Goblin’s PERFECT menu addition.
The Red Door Vegan Handpie
The infamous red door from the Insidious universe as this Red Door contains potatoes and oninions instead of demons and otherworldly creatures.
It’s a vegan handpie pastry addition and looks rather tasty indeed, as one door closes another mouth opens…
I’m not sure where I was going with that last part!
The Bride’s Cake
Inspired By Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines this is one item that pops off the page but it’s also one of the IP mazes that I’m most excited to see.
The female Universal monsters all in one maze kicking ass as Saskia Van Helsing and the Bride of Frankenstein go up against Dracula’s daughter and her monstrous mavens.
I genuinely think this and the Ghostbusters maze may just be the top two contenders here for best IP maze at HHN this year but we shall see!
The cake however is Frankenstein inspired with a raspberry blood oozing from the centre. Nom, nom nom!
Heart “Beet” Tostada
When anything is vegan I usually run a mile but after trying a handful of vegan options I realise that not everything on the menu is a flavourless hellscape.
This Tostada looks to be another addition to the ever-growing list of vegan foods proving me wrong as This Heart “Beet” Tostada includes a red beet tartar with hummus, vegan feta and watercress on a crispy tortilla.
This particular dish is inspired by the Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, a maze so popular in Hollywood that it was brought over to Florida for this year’s event!
Poison Apple
Inspired by Major Sweets Candy Factory and keeping it as simple as you can get on the surface it’s what lies within that suprises you because this unsuspecting apple is actually a caramel mousse with an apple filling and streusel cake.
Pumpkin Guts
Inspired by Goblin’s Feast this particular dish is a butternut squash and zucchini noodles combo with a sprinkling of pumpkin seeds and brown butter inside an acorn squash.
Another vegan treat that is unsuspecting whetting my appetite!
