A Quiet Place Scare Maze Coming to Movie Park Germany

A Quiet Place seems to be all the rage this year and after an incredible introduction at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood it seems Movie Park Germany has their very own A Quiet Place maze for this Halloween season!

A Quiet Place Movie Park Germany

Until now, Movie Park Germany has been silent as the grave about its newly planned horror house for the upcoming Halloween Horror Festival. Now Germany’s largest movie and amusement park is revealing its best-kept secret.

The new horror attraction for 2024 will be based on Paramount Pictures’ record-breaking movie franchise “A Quiet Place.

This IP attraction will be an intense experience as guests will walk through key scenes from the movie and find their way to freedom whilst vicious creatures stand in their way.

A Quiet Place will open on October 3rd and will become Europe’s largest indoor horror house to date with an area of over 1400m².

Halloween Project Manager Manuel Prossotowicz said:

The demand for an IP horror house has been very strong among our guests,

Thanks to the cooperation with Paramount Global, we can not only fulfill this wish, but also bring a well-known franchise to the park that will further immerse guests in the world of the horror genre.

There are 8 detailed scenes featured within the maze and the attraction blends the first two movies of the franchise together with the supermarket scene, the forest and the silo scenes all set to feature.

Movie Park’s long-standing partners IMAmotion and IMAscore will be responsible for the realization of the project, playing a major role behind the scenes and on the Halloween set.

The team will pay special attention to an authentic implementation of the design language and the sets of the movie.

While horror houses often feature narrow and winding corridors, more spacious areas will now contribute to the unique atmosphere in this new experience.

Managing Director Xaver Willebrand said:

This is a challenge that had to be carefully considered right from the initial concept phase. We intend to catch visitors’ attention and gaze in the best possible way – even distracting them if necessary – to create a thrilling overall experience.

Special speakers and authentic sound effects from the movie will also be incorporated into the house as this $261 million franchise will be realised at Movie Park Germany this scare season.

If the A Quiet Place scare maze is anything comparable to what Halloween Horror Nights put on, it’ll be great fun!
