This one-of-a-kind experience will catapult guests into the heart of the story as they are surrounded by a first-class drawing room of a classic cruise liner from the golden age with that original Haunted Mansion inspiration scattered throughout with a nautical twist.

Tributes to the ride from around the world will be included within the parlour as fans will recognise lots of easter eggs from around the room, from the iconic wallpaper to the distinctive purple armchair.

The Haunted Mansion is one of the most iconic attractions in Disney theme parks, known for its blend of eerie ambience and whimsical charm.

Its origins date back to the late 1950s as Walt Disney originally envisioned a walk-through haunted house for the park’s New Orleans-themed section and he was adamant the exterior remain pristine despite its ghoulish interior.

Many themes were considered such as pirates and a supernatural wedding but Imagineers eventually landed on whimsical ghost designs and technological advancements in ride systems allowed the omnimover ride system to be incorporated into the attraction

The attraction opened in 1969, two years after Walt Disney’s death and showcased pioneering special effects such as the Pepper’s Ghost illusion which is an effect that creates realistic holographic apparitions and an effect that is still used in attractions around the world to this day.

A full walkthrough video of this brand new and exciting space aboard the Disney Treasure has also been released giving you further insight into the immersiveness of the space. It’s like your very own Haunted Mansion at sea.

You can see Pepper’s ghost in full effect within the video (shown below) just behind the bar within the Disney Treasure Haunted Mansion Parlor.

As a big horror fan myself, I already feel as though I would be a regular here and I wouldn’t need to see any other area of the ship, I’d just live in this space right here.

What would be a great idea for Disney moving forward though is having themed bars and experiences worldwide such as this. Imagine a bar in the UK that looks like this, it would be truly spectacular!
