BBCTwo police officers have been injured in an incident outside a police station.
South Wales Police said it was called to reports of a male causing a disturbance outside Talbot Green police station in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
It said one male had been arrested and asked people to avoid the area.
The two injured officers were currently being treated by paramedics, the force added.
Local councillor Sarah Jane Davies said she understood the situation was “causing concern and anxiety” among the local community, adding that she was seeking updates.
She urged people to avoid the area and to “remain calm and vigilant”.
A video shared online showed a number of police cars lined up along the street nearby.
The police station is close to the centre of Talbot Green, and also near Talbot Green Shopping Park, which is visited by thousands of people every day.
