Step out in style with a brand new range of Ghostbusters shoes with all three brand new shoes released being priced at $60 or less!
These fully licensed sneakers have been created for fans to showcase their love of the franchise as they strut around town in a choice of three brand-new sneakers.
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Slimer shoes and a Ghostbusters character shoe (Venkman, Stantz, Zeddemore, and Spengler varieties available) are all available in this brand new range and we were kindly sent a pair of the Stay Puft shoes to bring you our thoughts.
But before we jump into that one let’s take a look at the other two sneakers in this fan-favourite range.
Slimer Ghostbusters Shoe – $59.99
You’re going to be noticed from a mile away wearing these slimer green Ghostbusters shoes but fear not, your love for 80s paranormal comedy will be brighter than any shoe can depict.
Stand out from the crowd with this neon-green addition made from faux leather and faux suede complete with a rubber sole for extra grip and some nylon mesh inner fabric to keep everything comfy.
Complete with the Slimer design these shoes certainly look the most solid of the range so if you’re after a sturdy shoe then this one is for you!
Ghostbusters High-Tops – $49.99
Imagine a pair of Converse without the Converse logo and a Ghostbusters one instead. Introducing these new character shoes as a canvas body and a rubber sole provide sturdy footing and a comfy interior.
Each of these high-tops comes with slime accents and custom character Ghostbusters name badges to choose from to help you choose your favourite Ghostbuster.
The best thing about this though is that the embroidered name tags on the shoe are entirely removable meaning you can customise your sneakers with your favourite member or even pay tribute to two members at a time!
Stay-Puft Marshmallow High Tops – $49.99
Last but not least we have the pair of Stay Puft Marshmallow high tops that we were sent as these Faux Leather/rubber sole high tops certainly look the part from a distance but I did have a slight issue with the actual Marshmallow man himself.
Sadly, I felt the Stay Puft character was made from a very thin flap of material that I imagine over time would wear and tear rather quickly so I’m going to be extra careful wearing these in order not to destroy them.
As far as the rest of the shoe is concerned it’s well made for the price but for those who are looking to purchase it fits rather narrowly towards the toebox so keep that in mind if you’re a fan of more room in the top end of your shoes.
The laces are good quality and the Marshmallow Man style ripples in the back of the shoe are certainly a nice touch but you’ll need to keep an eye on that Stay Puft flap.
No need for me to worry as I feel like I’ll only ever wear these particular sneakers at Comic-Con where they deserve to be appreciated and walking around all day I don’t think I’ll have any issues with as they are rather comfy indeed!
