I knew that one day Robert Englund would finally get a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and that time is now as on Halloween Day it will be unveiled to the world but you’ll be able to watch the entire ceremony from home!

Taking place on 10-31-25 at 11:30am PT, and the whole ceremony will be streamed live on the official Hollywood Walk of Fame website!

This will mark the 2,826th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and revealing it on Halloween is the perfect way to honour this incredible star and fellow colleague.

Yes, that’s right. Myself and Robert worked together on an independent horror movie called Fear Clinic, and it was arguably the greatest two years of my life.

Granted the film didn’t turn out too well compared to the web series but it certainly had / has potential to develop under the right guidance in the future.

Guest speakers at the ceremony will include director Eli Roth and actress Heather Langenkamp.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Robert Englund to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” stated Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer. “I think the timing of having Robert’s star on Halloween is most fitting as Robert’s legacy is deeply entwined with the very spirit of Halloween. Fans and industry peers alike will gather to celebrate a performer whose iconic work continues to haunt and inspire audiences around the globe,” added Martinez.

Mr Freddy Krueger himself will be honoured on the walk of fame, finally!

Robert was born in Glendale California, an avid surfer boy and son of an aeronautics engineer. He stumbled into acting through a mutual friend and if it wasn’t for Robert the entire Star Wars franchise could have changed forever as if it wasn’t for Rob, Mark Hamil would have never been cast in the film.

Englund was given a chance to audition for Han Solo, and passed the audition sides and information about his role to his then roommate Mark Hamill, Hamill contacted his agent, went for the role and the rest is history.

After auditioning for the horror movie directed by Wes Craven he initially wasn’t considered because of his height as Wes was looking for more of a stuntman figure but took a chance on Robert after seeing an impressive audition.

The movie became an instant hit!
