This month saw the introduction of the new Vue Ultra Lux seats at a select few cinemas across the UK as once again the cinema chain have stepped up the cinema-going experience with these stylish and quite incredible seats.
With a hidden surprise up their sleeves the back and legs of the Ultra Lux also recline independently, allowing you to find the most relaxing viewing position possible. Cue the motor noises when the cinema goes quiet as you adjust your seat to its optimal comfort position, ready to indulge in the movie.
Featuring the softest (according to Vue) seat in their range this recliner chair comes complete with an extra-plump headrest and with an extra-wide armrest and a personal table your snacks and beverages have got some room to spread out.
The seat is the widest seat in the Vue range and you’ll have a separate side table to store any coats, bags or umbrellas.
Now, one key feature of this brand new seat set-up is a built in state-of-the-art wine cooler with temperature control so you can keep your beverages cold for the duration of the film.
No other seat in the country offers this kind of luxury and it’s such a cool touch, especially in summer if you’ve got yourself an ice cream and want to stop it from melting or if you’ve just had a nice fresh can that you want to store in the fridge for later.

I think Vue know exactly what they’re doing, cinemas are having a tough time right now and it’s all about getting bums on seats and concessions spend up. This is certainly a good way to go about it!
