Could I BE anymore excited?! Today Warner Bros in collaboration with McDonald’s dropped the Friends Adult Happy Meal here in the UK that comes complete with one of six collectible mini figures.
This brand new collaboration see’s the Big Mac Meal, Chicken McNugget Meal and McPlant Meal (all priced around £10) customised with a Friends spin including a very nice little collectible mini figure. You could pick up a figure of Ross with his pet monkey Marcel, Rachel serving coffee at work, Monica in full chef mode, Phoebe with her guitar, plus Chandler and Joey with their beloved chick and duck duo.
On this particular occasion I managed to get Rachel! Not my favourite character by any means but the little figure was nicely done and it reminded me of a mini Funko Pop figure which considering the price they retail at made this meal feel like a bit of a steal.
Themed items on the menu are in short supply with this particular promotion compared to The Grinch offering at Christmas and 2025’s Adult Happy Meal themed around Minecraft but what we do have is Monica’s Marinara Sauce and some Pizza Mozzarella Sticks. The sauce is very nice (much like a pasta sauce as it should be) but it goes with the mozzarella sticks perfectly and is a nice addition if albeit similar to other tomato based sauces that McDonald’s have done in the past.
The star of the show is very much the figurine and I was quite impressed with how they look and if you get all 6 it would make quite a nice display piece.
Sadly McDonald’s have said that on this occasion you can’t buy figures separately which makes collecting a full set quite tricky without spending a fortune but that’s exactly why they’ve done it isn’t it?!
