Today the Toy Story 5 trailer has dropped today a staggering 6 years after the previous movie and whilst it wasn’t really a movie people were crying out to see (that ended at Toy Story 3) it’s still nice to have the gang on the big screen again all the same.
This particular film is focusing on technology seeking out to replace the toys as when Bonnie receives a frog-shaped tablet named Lilypad the toys fear the worst.
Woody and Buzz reunite in the trailer as ‘it’s nice to see them fighting again’ as they’re back for more Pixar indulgent brilliance.
Tom Hanks is back as the voice of Woody and Tim Allen back as the voice of buzz but there has been a shake-up in the VoiceOver department following the passing of Carl Weathers as Ernie Hudson steps in as Combar Carl and Mr and Mrs Potato Head and now voiced by Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino replacing the late Don Rickles and Estelle Harris.

Time really has taken its toll as when Woody takes off his cowboy hat he reveals a bald patch (bless him) the times have not been kind to the toys and now they’re being replaced with this little tech device.
Oh, what are they to do?!
With its mix of heartfelt nostalgia, classic character dynamics, and a timely battle against digital distraction, Toy Story 5looks set to deliver another emotional—and entertaining—chapter in Pixar’s beloved saga.
Toy Story 5 is out in cinemas on June 19th.
