Content Partners Hires Former WME Business Affairs Exec Benjamin Kram


EXCLUSIVE: L.A.’s Content Partners has hired former WME exec Ben Kram.

He is joining the film and TV distributor as Vice President, in a role that will see him focus on business development and help expand Content Partners’ portfolio of content investments and strategic partnerships.

Prior to Content Partners, he was a business affairs executive at WME, where structured negotiations on behalf of the agency’s clients, managing deals for above-the-line talent, rights, content distribution, and cross-functional partnerships across film, television and digital media.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to Content Partners,” said John Mass, President of Content Partners. “Ben brings deep experience in content strategy, business affairs, and entertainment partnerships, which will be instrumental as we continue to grow and diversify our portfolio and strengthen our relationships across the industry.”

Kram said he was joining Content Partners at “a pivotal time in the company’s growth,” adding, ““I look forward to working with their team to identify new opportunities and contribute to the company’s continued success in acquiring and managing entertainment assets.”

Kram has also worked in business and legal affairs for DreamWorks Animation and began his career in litigation for Hogan Lovells.

Los Angeles-based investment company Content Partners was founded in 2006 by Steven Blume and Steven Kram. Lats year, it debuted Content Partners Capital, a private capital division, which struck a financing deal with the relaunched Relativity Media.
