This weekend the Kryptonite Collider officially opens to the public at Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi as this high-energy DC Superman universe ride will introduce guests to one of Lex Luthor’s crazy experiments.
Guests will be briefed before volunteering to sit inside the Kryptonite Collider, a machine built as part of LexCorp’s controversial Everyman project which is capable of giving humans super powers.
The dilemma of choosing between Superman or trust Lex Luthor’s promise of giving everyone powers is an interesting concept indeed.

Once aboard, the centrifuge powers to life, sweeping riders through a high-energy vortex of powerful motion, immersive onboard audio and synchronised lighting, simulating the exhilarating sensation of unlocking extraordinary abilities.
As the experiment concludes, interactive digital displays reveal each guests’ newly acquired ‘superpowers’, delivering a memorable and personalized finale that puts Luthor’s theory to the ultimate test.
Manufactured by Zamperla this model is known as the Nebulaz and there are many around the world but none (and I mean none) are as themed as this particular model as Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi go above and beyond when it comes to theming their attractions and this thing looks outstanding.

It’s quite jaw-dropping the level of detail that this indoor theme park put into their attractions making it easily my favourite indoor theme park in the world and it’ll soon be regaining its worlds largest indoor theme park title when a Superman coaster (opening 2028) and a Harry Potter expansion (due 2030 onwards) will extend this attraction to almost double the size it is now!
The Kryptonite Collider is located within the Metropolis themed area of the park and certainly has a heavy theatrical element to it.

The concept of harnessing the powers of Kryptonite to power this machine to further human progress is a genius storyline but this is a ride you have to see in motion as it looks as cool off ride as it does on ride.
Ride Requirements:
- Minimum height when accompanied by an adult: 105 cm
- Minimum height when riding unaccompanied: 120 cm
- Guests under 105 cm cannot ride
- Maximum weight is 136 kg
