Remember back in 2023 when Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey was released and this little independent horror gem certainly perked up a few ears, well, now you can step foot inside it for yourselves as it’s getting its very own scare maze at Halloween Haunt Fest in Hertfordshire this October.
Located at the Hertfordshire Showground this brand new event is bringing two IP themed mazes to our UK shores, choose between Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey and the UK’s first ever Texas Chainsaw Massacre maze to sink your teeth into or brave two of their unique and original concept mazes within this VERY exciting looking event.
Halloween Haunt Fest are changing the independent horror scene completely with the acquisition of IP’s, these sort of named mazes are usually announced by huge theme parks and multi-million pound companies but here we have Halloween Haunt Fest changing the scare scene game and bringing named mazes to the UK which is incredible for fans.
IP mazes have to be meticulously monitored by the IP holders for scenic accuracy and brand association so I expect these mazes to certainly look the part and I’m very excited to see what the final version looks like.
Whilst debuting the UK’s only official Texas Chainsaw Massacre maze it’s also the first ever scare maze based on the Winnie-the-Pooh: Bloody and Honey slasher movie.
The two independent mazes also look like a very exciting prospect with sci fi horror themed E.D.E.N, the gateway to ‘Earth 2’, and The Trials of Jane Wenham – The Hertfordshire Witch, based on true local events!
