A brand new Batman rollercoaster at Parque Warner in Madrid is opening its doors on May 13.
Batman Gotham City Escape, the new roller coaster at Parque Warner Madrid will open its doors in ten days.
Arguably the most anticipated roller coaster in Spain as Intamin has manufactured an absolute beast consisting of a multi-launch with a 45-meter-high top hat that will surprise adrenaline lovers.
An investment of more than 20 million euros by the Parques Reunidos Group has brought this project to life as guests will immerse themselves in Gotham, the darkest and most enigmatic city in the DC universe.
The coaster will tour the entire park and consists of a track length of 1010 metres with a duration of 111 seconds and reaching speeds of more than 100 km/h and a dark section that will allow visitors to enter the city of Gotham.
Batman: Gotham City Escape has been designed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and P&P Projects. Guests will experience a story from beginning to end. through an experience that includes, among other features onboard audio, music and dialogues during a tour at full speed, with turns, drops and rises that make you feel like a DC superhero.
Locations designed for the new attraction include Wayne Manor, the Batcave and locations such as Robinson Park and the Gotham City Subway.
The ride’s trains are inspired by the Batmobile and include innovative harnesses that allow guests to experience new sensations. In addition, in Batman: Gotham City Escape the visitor will meet the iconic characters of Gotham City such as Batman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, represented through figures and videos in the attraction.
We are honoured to have been invited to see this attraction first hand so the plans are now in motion to get out to Madrid and ride this absolute beast in person. I absolutely cannot wait to see it in person, it has been on my ‘to-do’ list from the second it was announced.
This coaster could very well be Europe’s answer to Velocicoaster, the current Intamin giant that resides at Islands of Adventure at Universal Florida. A ride that is currently hailed as one of the best in the world.
With the level of theming that Parque Warner has added to this particular attraction mixed with the onboard audio and the insane layout of this coaster. This could very well be an Intamin ride that goes above and beyond expectations.
The hype is real and I cannot wait to see it in person!
