For many people, having a baby is a sign of commitment to a relationship. It is often thought that couples who get pregnant are in it for the long run. The reality is, of course, that relationships can end at any time, including when there is a child on the way. Granted it is not so common, but there are couples who go choose to go their separate ways while expecting.

Steve Burton and Sheree Gustin

Steve Burton, best known for starring in shows like ‘General Hospital’ and ‘The Young and the Restless,’ has recently announced his split from his wife, Sheree Gustin. Burton married the fitness influencer in 1999 and they have raised three children together. Gustin is currently pregnant with her fourth child, but Burton says he is not the father. “I wanted to clear something up,” he wrote in an Instagram story on May 4. “Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her fourth child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”
