A brand new DC pop-up experience is coming to London this September for Batman Day but you’ll have to be quick as the exhibition will only be on display for two days! Keep scrolling to find out more about the Batman Unmasked London exhibition.
Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of The Dark Knight and Warner Bros 100th Anniversary is this brand new Batman Unmasked London exhibition. This two day immersive pop-up is dedicated to Batman and his nemesis, The Joker.
Batman Unmasked will be the UK’s most comprehensive Batman showcase to date with never seen before costumes and props featured in Batman (1989), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017), Joker (2019), The Batman (2022).
Over 100 comics and the brand-new Batman Day special edition comics (Batman/Catwoman: Prelude to Gotham War and Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #1) will also be available to view in a special comic book area.
Batman Day props are already stocking the virtual shelves on the WB shop this week and this UK first of its kind exhibition will be gone before it’s even started.
I can’t imagine this being quite a detailed event with it only lasting two days, it almost feels as though they’ll have paid more money to ship the props / displays to the exhibition than they’d ever recoup back from ticket sales.
30 minutes is the guideline time listed for how long it will take you to see everything so it’s definitely a small pop-up but with anything Warner Bros do I’ve always been impressed and look forward to seeing what they do with the space.
The ticketed event marks the annual, global Batman Day, as well as celebrating the 15th anniversary of The Dark Knight film release, Warner Bros’ 100th anniversary, and ahead of the 85th anniversary of DC’s most iconic Super Hero, Batman in 2024.
Tickets will be released via See Tickets, seetickets.com/tour/batman-unmasked, on Friday 25th August*
Batman Unmasked is set to take fans on a fascinating journey through the Caped Crusader’s legendary history, descending into an immersive Batcave and showcasing releases spanning from 1989 to 2022 including Batman (1989), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017) and The Batman (2022).
