The Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 4K UHD release was announced today from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment in partnership with Spirit Entertainment.
On March 9th, 2026 the 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD release will see this second instalment unleashed on the shelves as fans can dive deeper into the world of Freddy Fazbear at home as the dark and mysterious thrill ride now comes jam-packed with revealing cast interviews, a jaw-dropping look behind the scenes at how fan-favorite animatronics like Mangle and Marionette came to life on screen, and an exploration of the Easter eggs dotting nearly every scene of the new movie.
Director Emma Tammi and writer and original franchise creator Scott Cawthon return, bringing the world a darker, more bone-chilling vision blending new characters and lore with longtime franchise favorites. The second installment of the remarkable horror phenomenon, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 breaks the boundaries of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria for the first time as the nightmare enters the outside world. New animatronics shatter the line between the living and the mechanical and expand the horror while deepening the mystery.
