Ghost Adventures Star Zak Bagans Launches Scarehouse Films

Famous paranormal investigator and Haunted Museum owner Zak Bagans has opened a brand new production company set to create three independent horror films in 2025.

Scarehouse

Scarehouse Films comes off the back of a career built upon the paranormal as Zak has hosted 330 episodes of the Discovery+ series Ghost Adventures which has been on TV since 2008. In the show, he stars alongside Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley as they investigate some of the world’s scariest locations.

In 2017, Zak opened the Haunted Museum in Vegas which still to this day is recognised as the best haunted destination in America. The museum contains a whole range of chilling artefacts from around the world and is a hot tourist destination in the state.

Just a selection of items on display at the Haunted Museum in Vegas consists of the Dybbuk Box, Peggy the Doll and a whole load more creepy artefacts with suspected haunted attachments to them.

Our Zak Bagans Haunted Museum article on Back to the Movies has amassed over 500,000 views since we posted it a couple of years ago and we still have yet to visit! it’s on the bucket list and we can hopefully get over there sometime in 2025. If we’re going to do it, we’re going to do it properly. VIP tour, nighttime tour, whatever it takes!

As well as producing a few series, spinoffs and documentaries Zak also created the 2018 documentary Demon House, which was truly terrifying! The documentary dived into a haunted case based in Gary, Indiana about a house that was reportedly known as a portal to hell.

The case drew media attention and the sheer volume of witnesses and case statements made this documentary a very fun one to watch!

No further details have been revealed about Scarehouse Films at this moment in time but we’ll be sure to update you as and when the three project details have been announced.

Deadline was the first site to report this news, you can check out their article HERE.

Good luck to Zak on this exciting new venture!
