Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Wants Her Dad Home
On Friday, July 4, Gia shared a heartfelt Instagram video, requesting that Trump pardon her father. She said, “Hey, guys, my name is Gia Giudice, I’m the daughter of Joe Giudice, and today I’m using my voice for something deeply personal.” Gia spilled on how her pops was the ultimate family rock, showing up and showing out for every cheer comp, dance recital, and holiday, holding it down as their protector.
But Gia makes it clear her dad has been away for years. The family misses him, the 24-year-old expressed, as she shared the pain of her dad’s absence since his deportation. She describes it as an “emotional rollercoaster” for her and her sisters. Now, inspired by the Chrisley’s reunion, Gia said:
“Watching the Chrisley family receive a second chance inspired me,” Gia explained. “It showed me that people can be forgiven, that families could be restored and that sometimes the justice system has room for grace. That gave me hope. Hope that maybe my dad could come home too.”
More On Joe Giudice’s Legal Drama And Deportation
Now, let’s get into why Joe’s not stateside. Back in 2013, he and Teresa got hit with a federal indictment for fraud involving bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud. Additionally, Teresa and Joe were accused of dodging taxes. Joe also caught a charge for using his brother’s info to snag a fake driver’s license after a DUI.
Then, in 2014, he took a plea deal, landing him a 41-month bid. After doing his time, Joe, who was born in Italy and never got U.S. citizenship, was arrested by ICE in March 2019. During his court case, a judge ordered him to be deported to Italy that October because of his felony record and lack of citizenship. Now, Joe’s living in the Bahamas, far away from his family. But Gia’s fighting to change that.
Here’s Why Todd & Julie Chrisley Are Now Free
Meanwhile, Julie and Todd Chrisley are enjoying their freedom after being pardoned by Trump two months ago! The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ stars were serving time for bank fraud and tax evasion, as well as facing allegations of scamming banks out of $30 million in loans. Julie was also charged with wire fraud and obstruction. Sentenced to 12 and seven years in 2022, their time got cut down. But it was their daughter Savannah’s hustle that really helped seal the deal for their pardons.
On May 27, Trump announced full pardons, calling the Chrisleys “terrific people” who got “harsh treatment.” The next day, May 28, Todd walked out of Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, and Julie left Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, reuniting with their family in Nashville.
