Is the Becoming Led-Zepplin Collectors Edition Worth It?

The brand new 2 disc 4K UHD + Blu Ray limited collectors edition for Becoming Led-Zepplin is now available to pre-order ahead of its April 27th release.

This new set includes the 2-Disc 4K UHD and Blu-ray TM SteelBook® edition, four exclusive photo card prints, two limited-edition guitar picks, iron-on jacket patch, vinyl guitar case sticker, and a special letter to fans from Director Bernard MacMahon.

I rather like the guitar picks, that’s a nice touch along with the jacket patch but when you look at the £79.99 price tag on this thing I can’t help but think they could have added a lot more.

Remember when the Back to the Future collectors edition was released featuring an OUTATIME metal number plate, mini sports almanac, numerous posters and concept art designs for display purposes in addition to the collectors set itself. That had some value but a few cards, a piece of paper, picks (cheap to manufacture), a patch (cheap) and a sticker (cheap) doesn’t exactly scream value does it?

Diehard fans however won’t care and will lap it up but for me personally, that price just isn’t sitting well with me!
