During this week’s episode, Keke said, “I’m fifteen, why was my boyfriend 20?” as she reflected on her early years in the spotlight, including her time on ‘True Jackson, VP.’ She explained that the dynamics that once seemed normal now feel like exploitation. “The moment when you realize…[men] were taking advantage,” she admitted. As a mom to three-year-old Leo with ex Darius Jackson, Keke also applauded fellow child stars, like Hilary Duff, for using music to highlight similar experiences, noting that songs like Duff’s 2025 hit ‘Mature’ capture the reality many young stars faced while being told they were “mature for [their] age.”
