Inspired by the grumpy green character who stole Christmas (and our hearts), this enchanting café offers a one-of-a-kind holiday experience. Nestled within the world’s largest Primark, The Grinch Café captures the whimsical essence of Whoville, providing a magical outing for families and fans of Dr. Seuss’s beloved tale.
Inside Grinch Café contains a whole variety of imagery and festive vibes with a grinchy twist and this re-skinned cafe is a whole array of bright colours and over-the-top boarded decorations inspired by the iconic illustrations of Dr. Seuss.
It’s great to have The Grinch movie magic live on from the 1996 animated classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, narrated by Boris Karloff, to Jim Carrey’s hilariously over-the-top portrayal in the 2000 live-action film, and the charming 2018 animated version voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch.
This café brings all the adaptations to life and the menu is brimming with holiday treats to tickle your tastebuds.
From Cindy Lou waggles to green cupcakes the cafe offers warm and cold drinks but we’d highly reccommend the milkshakes, topped with candy canes, whipped cream and sprinkes.

It’s not just the cafe you can indulge in as Primark have released a whole host of Grinch-themed merchandise including an incredible Christmas jumper and even a onesie, and that’s completely forgotteing the Grinchy slippers!

If there’s one thing that I would say about the cafe is that it could have a bit more decor. It looks a little sparse in places. Very boarded and one dimension. Throw some more festive decorations in there and more 3D type decorations and pieces then it’ll look much more than this temporary set-up one dimensional wonderland.
It’s lovely for Christmas but just a little bit more effort would go a long, long way.
