THERE’S nothing more annoying than breaking a nail – especially when you’ve got an otherwise glamorous manicure.
So when Laura Elle cracked her pinky nail, she decided to ask her nail lady if she could just glue a fake one over the top.

And while the specialist said that she could, Laura ended up drastically regretting the decision.
Sharing a video on TikTok, which showed the fake nail in place, she wrote over the top: “My nail lady: ‘If course we can just glue a nail on top of your pinky even though it’s cracked… your nail underneath will be fine.'”
But when she took the fake nail off, her nail underneath was broken off almost halfway down the bed.
“The joke was on me,” Laura captioned her video.
“So I shouldn’t do this to the one I just cracked? Asking for my future fill appointment,” someone commented on the video.
To which Laura replied: “Honestly.. if I could go back.. I would’ve not put one on and waited for it to heal.. now it’s 10 times worse.”
“This tech doesn’t know what they’re doing,” another added.
With Laura responding: “I know that now!”
“I can feel the pain through the screen,” a third wrote, as Laura admitted: “It hurts so bad”.
“You’re not even supposed to get nails if you have a hangnail,” another person warned.
“This could affect how your nail grows from now on.”
“i cringed hard,” someone else commented.
“oofffff the amount of heartbeats in that tip. and i complain when my nail bed separates.”
