Omniplex Cinemas, one of the UK and Ireland’s largest cinema chains, has today unveiled a premium new look at its Birmingham venue in Great Park, Rubery, following an extensive £14 million investment.
Visitors are in for a treat when they step into the transformed venue as you can see in the before and after photos shown within this article as the newly refurbished cinema now boasts a luxurious lounge complete with stylish interiors and upgraded seating.
The ultimate in comfort when watching your favourite films as there are now fully reclining seats throughout and luxury sofa beds also available in select screens.
To celebrate the brand new look the Omniplex is offering tickets for just £4.50 throughout the weekend (5th-6th April).
This Spring’s lineup includes thrilling family adventure A Minecraft Movie, spine-chilling supernatural horror Sinners, the live-action animated remake of Lilo & Stitch, and high-octane action Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
Mouthwatering menu options have also been added with the arrival of Joe’s Food Truck which has been installed in the lobby as this ‘movie set’ airstream trailer will serve up a giant 24-inch pizza, homemade crispy fried chicken, burgers and more.
There is also a new Beer & Cocktail Van which will offer a delicious selection of beers, wine, soft drinks and cocktails including Espresso Martinis and Strawberry Daiquiris.
The extensive renovations elevate Birmingham’s already exceptional cinema experience. The 13-screen multiplex boasts two OmniplexMAXX screens – the chain’s Premium Large Format, complete with luxurious Recline seating and sofa beds.
As the only Omniplex in the country with two MAXX screens, it offers even more opportunities for film fans to immerse themselves in the biggest blockbusters and from the look of the Joe’s Food Truck items my mouth is absolutely watering at the array of photos the cinema have kindly sent over for us to showcase.
