Distinctive Assets may be the masterminds behind the luxurious gift bags for the 24th year in a row, but for the pricier additions like the redeemable experiences, celebs who choose to cash in are the ones that foot the tax bills, according to The Wall Street Journal. Still, all in, the bags’ value, the outlet noted, comes in at a cool $346,000.
And while the physical take-home items are estimated at around $6,000, if last year’s Oscars goodie bags—which included a four-night stay at a resort in the Maldives worth $23,000, a $5,200 stay at a Barcelona hotel, and AncestryDNA’s $25,000 VIP Family History Experience—are any indication, there’s plenty more where that came from.
“My goal when I’m building this bag,” Lash told CNBC in an interview published in February 2025, “is that I go, ‘There’s some cool s–t here that I would love to get if I were a celebrity.”
