RAWALPINDI: A terrorist was killed by the security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Shalobar area of Khyber district, ARY News quoted ISPR on Sunday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that an IBO was conducted after reports of the presence of terrorists in Khyber’s Shalobar area. During intense exchange of fire, a terrorist was killed by the security forces.
According to the ISPR, the killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities, whereas, weapons and ammunition were also recovered.

Yesterday, Four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by the security forces in North Waziristan.
Security forces conducted the IBO in the Spimwam area of North Waziristan after the reports of the presence of the terrorists. After an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed by the security forces.
According to the military’s media wing, the killed terrorists were involved in attacks on the security forces. Arms and explosive material were also recovered from the killed terrorists’ possession during the IBO, the statement added.
