After being screened by Universal and Blumhouse, M3GAN, which producer James Wan (Malignant) likened to “Annabelle and Chucky meets the Terminator,” is anticipated to become the next significant horror icon.
M3gan looks genuinely terrifying and it’s already on the big screen and gaining some great reviews across the board. Instantly people are comparing this new animatronic artificial doll to the Child’s Play reboot but this particular horror icon seems to have her own two legs to stand on as fans are going wild for all things M3gan this January.
Alice, Darling
Starring Anna Kendrick as a woman with a controlling boyfriend, Alice, Darling looks like a compelling watch for anyone who has felt trapped in an unhealthy, toxic relationship. The film follows Kendrick’s character as she tries to break free from her controlling partner and take control of her life.
You People
You People is a comedy from Jonah Hill and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris about a new couple and their families who have to navigate cultural clashes, generational differences, and societal expectations. This marks Barris’ feature-directing debut and is set to be released on Netflix.
Saint Omer
Saint Omer is a French film about a woman on trial. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival and has been selected as France’s entry for the best international film category at the 2023 Oscars. It’s set to be released in the US this year.

The final chapter in the Magic Mike franchise, Magic Mike’s Last Dance follows Channing Tatum’s Mike Lane as he embarks on a show in London thanks to the deep pockets of a socialite played by Salma Hayek.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third Ant-Man movie, follows Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton), Hope (Evangeline Lily), and her parents Hank (Michael Douglas) and Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) as they become enmeshed in the Quantum Realm and encounter the menacing Kang (Jonathan Majors). Bill Murray also joins the cast as a strange figure from Janet’s past.
Creed III
In Creed III, Michael B. Jordan makes his directorial debut and returns as Adonis Creed, who finds his greatest match yet when an old friend (Jonathan Majors) with a vendetta against him challenges him for the title. The film is the latest instalment in the popular Creed franchise.
Scream VI
The Scream franchise is set to continue with the release of Scream VI, which brings Ghostface to New York City to terrorize the subway stations. The film has generated a lot of buzz with its clever marketing, and fans are eager to see how it compares with previous instalments, especially with Hayden Panettiere reprising her role from the fourth movie.

Renfield
Renfield is a modern-day retelling of the Dracula story, with Nicholas Hoult playing the role of Renfield, the lackey of Count Dracula, who’s played by Nicolas Cage. The film follows Renfield as he discovers there is more to life than serving the Count, thanks to his encounter with Rebecca (Awkwafina). With Hoult and Cage in the lead roles, Renfield is sure to be a memorable and entertaining film.
