Parkway Cinema Cleethorpes certainly caught my eye when they posted a little video tour of they brand new £1M refurbishment programme underway with the first phase now complete which included the remodelling of two screens and they look incredible!
Included within these new screens are bespoke reclining seats, daybeds which are crying out for a blanket and some chill time and some really unique semi-private booths which look like they’ve been pulled straight out of Business Class on an airplane.
The space per customer has been made wider by reducing the seat numbers and 25% bigger screens (over 10m wide) have been added not to mention upgraded projection and DOLBY Digital sound installation.
In the second phase, three more new luxury screens will open in time for Summer. Offering brand-new supersized 10-metre-wide screens, super-bright digital projection, and spine-tingling Dolby sound, along with our bespoke recliner seating.
The third stage will reinvent the bar and foyer area to create a range of warm, welcoming spaces and even more food options.
Out of the three options I would absolutely choose the semi-private booths every single time, they look so cosy and premium and they’ve done a phenomenal job with how the cinema is presented.
Comfort is everything within a cinema environment and privacy within a cinema is naturally very difficult so these certainly go towards making it a more private spacious experience for you to sit back, relax and watch a film on the big screen.
